Training of Trainers in Sustainable Integrated Development in Slope Area (SIDLA)
March 1, 2022, Concepcion Vocational School Administrator, Dr. Consolacion A. Talisik together with Mr. Carlos D. Mola, LPT facilitated the conduct of the Training of Trainers in Sustainable Integrated Development in Slope Area (SIDLA) at Bausa Integrated Farm and Training Center, Brgy. Gabihan, San Ildefonso, Bulacan. Representatives from different provinces graced the training and actively participated in every topic discussed. Mr. Luis Bausa, joined Dr. talisik and Mr. Mola during the conduct of the training. Four ( 4 ) major topics discussed include the following:
SALT 1: Sloping Agricultural Land Technology
SALT 2: Simple Agro-Livestock Technology
SALT 3: Sustainable Agro-forest Land Technology
SALT 4: Small Agro-Fruit Livelihood Technology
The significance of Organic Agriculture Production (OAP) was also discussed and that, this system sustains the health of soils, ecosystems, and people and it relies on ecological processes, biodiversity and cycles adapted to local conditions, rather than the use of inputs with adverse effects.
