TVI-Central forges corporate docs
Finally, a corporate identity for the federation of the associations of technical vocational institutions (TVIs) in Region III is assured.
The heads of the TVI associations, led by Gregorio ‘Bong’ Sison Jr. of the Pampanga Federation of Technical Institutions, Inc (PAFTI) forged the constitution and by-laws the Central Luzon Technical Vocational Institution Federation, Incorporated or TVI-Central last January 16, 2013 at the TESDA-III office at the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
TVI-Central aims to develop and offer sustainable and market-driven technical vocational education and training programs in Central Luzon. It also seeks to nurture harmonious partnership with the TESDA Regional and Provincial units and other TVET stakeholders in terms of policy formulation and implementation, upgrading and standardization of TVET programs, and TVET marketing and advocacy.
As head of TVI-Central, Mr. Bong Sison vowed to pursue programs and activities that shall foster camaraderie among the member schools, and those that seek to enhance the delivery of sound, good quality technical vocational education and training in the region.
Aside from PAFTI, the member associations and heads are the Aurora Technical Vocational Educators Association, Inc. (ATVEA) Jaime S. Gose, President; Bataan Federation of Technical Institutions, Inc. (BaFTI) Rogelio S. Zulueta Jr., President; Bulacan Association of Technical Schools, Inc. (BATS) Millie S. Kaw, President; Nueva Ecija Association of Technical Vocational Institutions, Inc (NEATVI) Teresita L. Monzon, President; Philippine Association of Higher Education and Technical Institutions-Tarlac, Inc (PAHETI-Tarlac) Luisito G. De Jesus, President; and Olongapo-Zambales Association of Technical Institutions, Inc. (OZAPTI) Rene Paulo M. Legaspi, President.
