DILG Central Luzon hosted the Unified Flag Raising Ceremony this morning

The ceremony is in support of the celebration of Local Government Month which is celebrated every October under Presidential Proclamation No. 63 series of 1992 signed by Pres. Fidel V. Ramos. This year, 2022, marks the 31st year since the enactment of the Local Government Code of 1991.
With this year’s theme of “Lakas ng Lokal! Trailblazing Innovation and Collaboration in Local Governance”, the Department reiterates the importance of partnership with stakeholders in capacitating our Local Government Units to enable them to attain their fullest development and create self-reliant communities, and ensuring responsiveness to the ever-changing landscape of local governance.
The activity was participated in by representatives from different national government agencies and selected local officials at NEDA Covered Court, DMGC, Brgy. Maimpis, CSFP.
