Pilot Virtual SIS/BSRS Orientation Session on Encoding of TVI Absorptive Capacity Inventory

TESDA Nueva Ecija conducted its pilot virtual orientation regarding the Updates on the Scholarship Information System (SIS)/ Biometric Enabled Scholarship Registration System (BSRS) on Encoding of Technical Vocational Institution (TVI) Absorptive Capacity Inventory on January 18, 2023.

The said activity was facilitated by the SIS/BSRS focal April Liza Chua, with the support of the Provincial Director Elpidio Mamaril Jr. and the Supervising TESD Specialist Raquel Baluyot, which was attended by the registrars and trainers from the respective Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) within the province.

The orientation intends to inform TVIs on the system update: Deployment of the BSRS v2.0 and the immediate encoding of their Absorptive Capacity Inventory for FY 2023 in the SIS. This update helps to reduce the conflicts on the trainer schedules during the actual implementation of the training program, by enabling the trainer to confirm their availability before being included in the TVI’s Absorptive Capacity.

Moreover, Mr. Lesther G. Velasco, Registrar/Trainer of Provincial Training Center (PTC) Palayan City, presented an actual SIS/BSRS encoding, followed by an open forum. The orientation ended with a closing remark from Nueva Ecija Association of Technical Vocational Institutions (NEATVI) – President, Ms. Teresita Manzon.
