🌱 TESDA Bataan Supports Zero Waste Month 2026 🌱

In celebration of Zero Waste Month this January 2026, the Provincial Government of Bataan, through the Provincial Public Employment and Services Office (PESO) and the Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO), in partnership with TESDA Bataan, conducted an Orientation on Solid Waste Management Training on January 20, 2026 at the 1Bataan Command Center, Orani, Bataan.

The Solid Waste Management Training, which runs for eight (8 days from January 20–23 and January 27–30, 2026, is participated in by 52 paleros (garbage collectors), garbage truck drivers, and street sweepers from the 11 municipalities and 1 city of the Province of Bataan.

The orientation was graced by Mr. Raphael De Leon, OIC – PG-ENRO Bataan; Ms. Maria Eva M. Basalo, PESO Manager – Provincial Government of Bataan; and Mr. Jeffrey P. Kinkito, Supervising TESD Specialist – TESDA Bataan, who inspired the participants and highlighted the importance of proper waste management in protecting the environment and public health.

This training aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the participants and to professionalize them in their field of work through the Solid Waste Management Training leading to Garbage Collection NC I. After completion, participants will undergo assessment for Garbage Collection NC I.

The training is facilitated by TESDA Region III Regional Lead Trainers, Mr. Rico Briones of Concepcion Vocational School and Mr. Ar-Jay Payang of PTC-Tarlac.
