LAUNCHING OF THE TESDA BEST SKILLS PASSPORT MOBILE APPLICATION
Demonstrating the government’s efforts to develop a more digitally skilled Filipino workforce capable of meeting regional and global labor market demands, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the launch of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Skills Passport Mobile Application at the Makabagong San Juan National Government Center in the City of San Juan on February 5, 2026.
The Digital Skills Passport is an all-in-one application that links Filipinos to training, scholarships and job prospects. It is designed to document learner competencies, support personalized learning pathways, and connect skills to relevant training and employment opportunities.
Serving as both a digital identity and portfolio, the application enables users to securely store, manage, and showcase their skills and credentials. Key features include the Skills Passport for verified TESDA credentials; Job Opportunities for employment matches; Learning Paths for online training access; Scholarships displaying real-time program availability; and Centers Near Me for locating TESDA-accredited institutions.
Furthermore, the platform includes identity verification and data security measures, such as PhilSys (Philippine Identification System) validation, to help ensure the accuracy and privacy of learner records.
Today’s event supports the Administration’s focus on digital transformation of government services and its commitment to skills development and workforce competitiveness.
