MEETING ON TESDA PROGRAMS FOR 4PS BENEFICIARIES
A coordination meeting was conducted on January 27, 2026 at the TESDA Aurora Provincial Office between TESDA Aurora and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Aurora. The meeting aimed to discuss TESDA programs that may be extended to Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in the province, who are included among TESDA’s Community-Based Technical Vocational Education and Training (CBTVET) clients under the Economic and Livelihood Vulnerable Cluster.
DSWD Aurora expressed its appreciation and looked forward to the continued support of TESDA Aurora under the leadership of Provincial Director Nomer Pascual, with the assistance of Mr. Jerome H. Lopez, Supervising TESDS. During the discussion, PD Pascual emphasized the importance of implementing convergence activities among member agencies of the Provincial Advisory Council to ensure that skills training interventions are complemented by post-training support, enabling beneficiaries to pursue sustainable livelihood through self-employment or wage employment.
DSWD Aurora was represented by Ms. Joanne Mateo and Mr. Jay Lee Embile. Both agencies reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen inter-agency collaboration in support of inclusive, employment-oriented, and livelihood-focused skills development for 4Ps beneficiaries in Aurora Province.
